Some evenings the garden is just a garden. Other evenings there are canvases, saplings, board games, or someone singing badly into a microphone. Here's a look at a few of them.

Past Events
June 2026
Hand-Tossed Pizza Workshop
A hands-on Sunday in the kitchen — the art of hand tossing, getting the dough right, building the perfect sauce, and figuring out which toppings actually belong together. Real skills, real pizza, eaten warm.
Workshop
Urban gardening workshop in the garden at Rusticano
May 2026
Urban Gardening Workshop
Hosted with BaapBeti Farms — a TEDx speaker and winner of the Indian Responsible Tourism State Award 2026. Fifteen seats, a hands-on planting session, a live Q&A, and a sapling for everyone to take home and grow. Herb fries and a mocktail on the side.
Workshop
Sip and paint art workshop at Rusticano
Sunday afternoons
Art Workshop — Sip & Paint
The garden turned into an art studio for the afternoon. Twelve strangers arrived with blank canvases and left with boho paintings and big smiles. No experience needed, all supplies included, drinks while you paint. The line we heard most: "I haven't slowed down like this in a long time."
Art
Evening games meetup under fairy lights at Rusticano
Monthly
Games Meetup — Sunday Bollywood & Board Games
A full-blown game night in the garden — Bollywood Fictionary, UNO, Housie and Song Hint had everyone competing and laughing across the tables. The open mic brought out singers and even a stand-up bit from the crowd, kept low-key so the whole garden could enjoy it together. This one's becoming a monthly thing.

Celebrate With Us

Birthdays, anniversaries, baby showers, or a get-together with no particular reason. The garden works well for small gatherings — space for decor, seating under the fairy lights, and the full menu to order from. Tell us what you have in mind and we'll work it out.

Birthdays
Kids' parties to quiet grown-up ones
Anniversaries
A table in the garden, done properly
Baby Showers
Daytime, bright, room for everyone
Small Get-Togethers
Reunions, farewells, no occasion at all
Volunteer & Host Something Here

The garden is open to people who want to run something in it. If you've been meaning to start a board game night, teach a craft, or read stories to a room full of kids — we have the space, the chai, and the fairy lights. You bring the idea.
